Poha
is one among the most famous Marathi cuisine. It's a great choice for breakfast especially when you are looking out for a
quick session or an easy to prepare snack in the evening. It
just takes 10 minutes to prepare with few ingredients and with a great taste.

Additional Tips:-
- Rice Flakes-2 cup
- Onion- 1 (big size)
- Green chili- 3
- Curry leaves-Few
- Coriander leaves -Few
- Mustard seeds-1tspn
- Urad dhal-1tspn
- Channa dhal- 1tspn
- Oil-2 tbsp
- Lemon juice-1tspn
- Groundnuts- 2tspn
- Turmeric powder- 1/4tspn
- Salt-1tspn(adjust to taste)

Method:
- Soak rice flakes in water for 2 to 3 minutes and drain the excess water completely. Keep it aside.(figure 1)
- Take a pan, heat oil in a medium flame, add mustard seeds wait for crackle and then add peanuts, urad dhal. Saute for 2minutes.(figure 2)
- Add channa dhal, green chilli, curry leaves and saute for 1 more minute.(figure 3)
- Add chopped onions ,salt and saute until onions become soft.(figure 4 & 5)
- Add turmeric powder and saute for 2 seconds.(figure 6)
- Now add rice flakes and mix well. Cook for 5 minute in low flame.(figure 7)
- Add lemon juice and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves.(figure 8)
Additional Tips:-
- Soak rice flakes for only 3mins and drain excess water completely ensure that rice flakes should be completely dry.
- If you soak rice flakes more than 3 minutes then rice flakes will stick to each other and will not come as a separate grain then you can't prepare poha :(
- In step 6 mix rice flakes little bit little bit very softly or else it will stick to each other .
- You can even add potato's in this recipe, it will bring more tasty. For this take 1 small size potato, cook it seperately and cut into medium size pieces. After 4th step add potato's saute for 3min and continue the 5th step.
