Bread Omelet


Bread Omelet is very easy recipe for breakfast, in which bread is cooked along with omelet itself. Here is the yummy Bread Omelet recipe.
Bread Omelet
Ingredients: Serve-2

  • Bread slices - 4
  • Eggs   - 4
  • Turmeric powder  - a pinch
  • Red chilly powder  - 1/2tspn
  • Pepper Powder - 1/2tspn
  • Salt - 1/2tspn (adjust to taste)
  • Onion -1 (medium size)
  • Oil  - 2tspn
  • Green chilly - 1
  • Coriander leaves - Few

 Method:
  1. In a mixing bowl  add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, pepper powder little water and mix well.(figure1 &2)
  2. Break eggs and pour to the mixture and beat it very good there should not be any lump of spices.(figure 3)
  3. Now add finely chopped onion, green chilli and coriander leaves to the beaten egg mixture and give a good stir and keep aside.(figure 4)
  4. Next toast the bread to golden color( we can use toaster or pan to toast bread ) and keep it aside.(figure 5)
  5. In the same pan, add 1 tsp oil and heat in a medium flame.
  6. Dip the bread slice in the egg mixture and put in a pan(figure 6& 7)
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the bread to prepare omelet and add oil.(figure 8 & 9)
  8. Let the omelet cook for another 2 minutes and flip the omelet carefully to other side, cook for 2mins(figure 10)
  9. Bread omelet is ready to eat.(figure 11)
Additional Tips:
  • Toast the bread well
  • Be careful while flipping the omelet
  • Cook the omelet in a  medium flame  or-else due to high flame color of the omelet gets change but omelet will not be cooked completely.
