Hope Vegetable Fried Rice doesn't need much introduction so lets directly jump into the preparation process.
Veg Fried Rice |
Ingredients: Serve- 2
- Basmati Rice – 2 cup (cooked rice)
- Oil – 3tspn
- Cumin seeds – ½tspn
- Onion – 1(big)
- Carrot – 1(small)
- Beans – 8
- Peas –as required
- Pepper powder – 1tspn
- Green chilly – 2
- Coriander leaves - as required
- Salt - 1tspn (adjust to taste)

Method:
- Cook the rice and transfer into plate. keep aside and let it cool.(figure 1)
- Take a pan, heat oil in medium flame add cumin seeds wait for crackle. Then add thin slices onion and saute for 5 minutes.(figure 2 & 3)
- Add green chillies, vegetables and saute for 1 more minute. (figure 4)
- Add salt, pepper powder and continue sauteing for 1 minute.(figure 5 & 6)
- Close the pan with lid and cook for 5 minutes in a medium flame.(figure 7)
- Open the lid, add cooked rice and mix well. (figure 8)
- Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve in bowl.(figure 9)
Additional Tips:-
- Cut the vegetables in small pieces so that it will get cooked faster.
