Hope every one like mango and more over we are in current season to taste Kesar mango varieties.Our today's recipe is green mango rice which is very easy to make and good option for lunch box meal.

Mango Rice |
Ingredients: Serve -2
- Green Mango - 1 cup (grated)
- Cooked Rice - 3 cups
- Oil - 2tspn
- Mustard seeds - 1/2tspn
- Urad dhal - 1tspn
- Channa dhal - 1tspn
- Kaju - 4 pieces
- Curry leaf - as required
- Coriander leaves - as required
- Green chili - 3
- Salt - 1tspn (adjust to taste)

Method:
- First grate the mango and cut the green chili as lengthwise.
- Take a pan, heat oil in medium flame add mustered seeds and wait for crackle and then add urad dhal, Channa dhal, kaju, green chili, curry leaf & continue sauteing for 5 seconds.(figure 1)
- Add grated Mango and saute for 1 minute. (figure 2)
- Add salt and saute for 5 more seconds . (figure 3)
- Add cooked rice mix softly and continue sauteing for 1 minute. (figure 4 )
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve in a bowl. (figure 5 & 6)
Mango rice is ready to serve !
Additional Tips:-
- In step 3, add cool rice or else rice will stick together won't come separate grains.
