Mint
leaves has many healthy benefits such as
cooling the digestive system,boosting immunity, help to overcome cough
and many more. So guys please ensure you take mint leaves atleast once a
week. Today we are going to see how to prepare mint chutney.

Mint Chutney |
Ingredients: Serve 4
- Mint leaf - 1/2 bunch
- Coriander leaves - few (optional)
- Onion- 1 (big size)
- Red chilli - 3
- Urad dhal - 2spn
- Oil - 3spn
- tamarind - 1small piece
- Salt- 1spn (adjust to taste)
- Asafoetida - 1/4 spn
The

Method:
- Take a pan, heat oil, add red chili, urad dhal and saute until color changes to slightly brownish, transfer into the plate.(figure 1)
- Roast onion, tamarind for 5mins in a medium flame and transfer into the plate(figure 2)
- Roast mint leaf, coriander leaf for 5mins and transfer into the plate. (figure 3 & 4)
- In a mixy jar add red chilli make powder (figure 5)
- Add onion, tamarind and make a paste (figure 6)
- Add mint leaf, coriander leaf and make a paste by adding little water.(figure 7)
- Add salt, urad dhal, asafoetida, make a paste and transfer into serving bowl. (figure 8 & 9)
Mint chutney is ready to serve !
Additional Tips:-
- In step 6 add sufficient water to make a smooth paste.
- In step 7
make a light smooth paste ensure that urad dhal should be lightly broken.
